Court Hearing – Total Assistance £395 + VAT
All Guilty or Not Guilty Pleas, multiple Summonses in the Magistrates’ Court
The Total Assistance Service is designed for Clients who require Motor Lawyers to handle all aspects of the case, to include all peripheral preparation, drafting of correspondence, negotiation etc.
You will be appraised of all developments by email/telephone updates and thus only have to liaise with ourselves as opposed to any other party.
This is our most extensive service and allows the Client to delegate all aspects of the case to ourselves.
If you have been summonsed for more than one offence,
Motor Lawyers will, at our discretion, cover all matters for this one off fee.
If you intend to plead not guilty, Motor Lawyers will investigate all aspects of the prosecution evidence and prepare your tactics and arguments accordingly.
This fee also covers any work carried out for interlocutory hearings.
Please note that where cases are successfully defended, Motor Lawyers will automatically request and would normally receive full payment of your costs from central funds so your fee would therefore be reimbursed.
Barrister Service
If you require representation at Court, a Barrister’s fee will be charged in addition to our set fee.
We will negotiate the Barrister’s fees on your behalf and approve same with you prior to instructing the Barrister.
Motor Lawyers obtain preferential rates when instructing Barristers.
Whilst their fees will vary according to experience, location and the complexity of the case, for straight forward attendances in the Magistrates’ Court, you should expect a fee from £250 + VAT.
Even in the most complex cases, the fee should not exceed £450 + VAT.
The fee agreed will include presentation of the case, all preparation and reading time on the part of the Barrister, any pre–hearing discussion with you, travel time and waiting time.
As with ourselves, the amount of the fee is agreed in advance.
There are no hidden costs. Please note, that if you require representation at more than one hearing, the Barrister will charge a fee for each attendance.
