I visited the court in fear and trepidation but had prepared a reasonable talk on the basis you laid out... the Court decided to use the special sentence allowed and I left the court very pleased...the police left sad! Thanks for your help & advice.

Many thanks for all your advice and help. The outcome of today's hearing was successful. I was not disqualified . The magistrate interrupted me about 1/3 of the way through my defence informing that I had already put forward a very strong defence and that they were not going to disqualify me. The prosecuting barrister withdrew from taking part in further questioning .... This is the best possible outcome I could have hoped for, so once again many thanks indeed.
